Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is an Irish actress and model. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as a Bond actress on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte on Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was a model when she was approached. The outcome proved to be a lucrative career. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work, a rule she carried over to her acting. Once she caught the attention of the director of casting in the upcoming James Bond movie, she participated of A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. Doody starred alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. When she moved to Hollywood Doody made her an international star. She was chosen to replace Cybill Shepard as L'Oreal spokesperson and then was later cast alongside Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his girlfriend and agent in Major League II. Doody, who had been off acting for more than 10 years, came back in 2003 to take on a tiny part on the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine was her character as a character at the ceremony for awards. Doody acted alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 television movie adaptation to King Solomon's Mines and also appeared in a short film called Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet on the Holocaust and in the British TV series Waking the Dead (in a two-part show named. In 2010 Doody shot a part of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). In 2011, she was to be the main character in The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. Pam Jefferson, the character she played in E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season that ran for two seasons. In 2014, she was on the show as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November, she won the Almeria Tierra de Cinema Award as well as a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
